Abu Dhabi Air Conditioned Shelters

We secured a contract with Abu Dhabi Department Of Transport (DoT) for the design, manufacture and installation of a number of air conditioned bus shelters throughout Abu Dhabi. The shelter design required a an extremely onerous design specification, particularly around local windspeeds and loading on the structure. The final design included a steel framed structure clad with aluminium extrusions, solar controlled double glazing and doors to provide for an air conditioned waiting area. A canopy to provide shade and an external waiting area has the distinctive middle eastern mashrabiya piercing in the rear panelling.
